All services and congregational activities have ceased until further notice due to COVID-19 Coronavirus Outbreak

Given the current Coronavirus COVID-19 emergency, and associated developments, Presbyterian Moderator, Rt Rev Dr William Henry and the Clerk of the General Assembly and General Secretary of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, Rev Trevor Gribben, have written to all ministers across Ireland informing them that all congregational organisations and activities, including Sunday worship, should cease until further notice.

A different way to worship

Weekly services led by the Moderator and others will be available on the PCI website every Sunday from 6am and will be available on the website for the duration of the week.

Due to the current restrictions on worship services, many congregations are preparing for a very different form of worship this Sunday. Creatively using live streaming and pre-recorded messages via websites and social media platforms, Presbyterian Moderator, Rt Rev Dr William Henry will also begin a series of Sunday worship services for the wider Presbyterian family that will be available on the PCI website and Facebook page every Sunday morning.

The pre-recorded service, which will last around 45 minutes, will follow closely a usual Sunday worship service and will include a children’s talk and song, prayers, three hymns and Dr Henry’s sermon. The only element that will be missing will be the offering.

During this difficult time, please do get in touch if we as a church family can be of assistance.
